David Casa challenges Labour MEPs on FIAU report

Thursday, 26 July 2018, 11:20 Last update: about 7 years ago

MEPs Marlene Mizzi and Miriam Dalli, in a coordinated effort consistent with their Party’s spin, are attempting to blur the lines between the conclusions of the part-published inquiry and my work, Nationalist MEP David Casa said.

“They have nothing to do with each other. Their suggestion that there is a connection between them has disgraced the office they hold,” he said in a statement.

Mizzi and Dalli must make their position clear, Casa added. They should state unequivocally that do not believe the contents of the FIAU reports.

The attempt of Labour MEPs to mislead the Maltese people by obscuring the terms of reference of the part-published inquiry is a betrayal of their electorate. They need to stop hiding behinds vague phrases in opinion pieces and clarify their position on Mizzi, Schembri, Pilatus and Nexia BT - so that they can be held to account for their abhorrent deception, Casa said.
