Education Minister Evarist Bartolo has ordered an investigation into allegations of “operational and administrative” irregularities at MCAST.

In a statement, the ministry said Bartolo had received reports of these irregularities.

The ministry permanent secretary, on the request of the minister, passed on this information to the police, given that the allegations could be of a criminal nature.

The minister also appointed a board of inquiry headed by Paul Bonello to investigate the allegations.
