A 28-year-old youth was arrested on Saturday night after drug squad officers found him to be carrying 121 sachets of suspected cocaine.

The arrest was made at an entertainment venue in Gozo.

The man is from Zebbug, Gozo. He was also found to be carrying a considerable amount of cash, the police said.

Magistrate Joanne Vella Cuschieri is holding an inquiry. The police are also investigating the case.
