The Environmental Health Directorate within the Superintendence of Public Health said that following an overflow of sewage yesterday in the Sirens area in St Paul’s Bay, although the necessary works have been carried out as a precaution, until results for sea water samples which were collected from the area are confirmed bathing is not recommended at:

Malta – Sirens, St. Paul’s Bay (Site Code C 22).

Information signs indicating closure have been fixed in the area as indicated on the map above.
