The Ministry for Gozo, along with its Animal Welfare section, have embarked on a campaign to promote animal-friendly holidays, while raising awareness about the welfare of pets.

Gozo Minister Justyne Caruana launched the informative campaign aimed at pet owners who consider going to Gozo for a holiday.

Pets will be given refreshments at the Cirkewwa termina. They will also be given a Gozo ferry ticket.

Pet owners will also be given informative material that will be helpful in cases of emergency or other matters related to the welfare of their pets, Caruana said.
