August has seen the return of football, with European leagues kicking off throughout the course of the month.
Even in Malta, the BOV Premier League kicked-off with all 14 teams in action over the course of last weekend.
People all around the world have gone back into football frenzy, and these two youngsters are no different.
Seeing the open space in St. George’s Square in Valletta, they couldn’t resist a quick kick-about, with one of the main doors of the Grandmaster’s Palace being used as a makeshift goalpost.
The football on display wasn’t exactly what on par with what supporters are normally used to (no tiki-taka or 30 metre volleys here) but nonetheless it represents a light-hearted and fun moment on a laid-back Maltese summer night.
