PL MEP Miriam Dalli speaks about plastic use in Malta, and says that not everyone has yet realised that throwing something away outside is not right.

She spoke about the use of confetti during feasts and festivities, and expressed her disagreement with such acts. She stressed that she is not against Maltese traditions, but believes that there are alternatives which allow for celebrations to continue without the use of such plastic, or to continue through the use of different methods.
