Sfumat: caught between what is seen and what is not

Sunday, 9 September 2018, 09:00 Last update: about 7 years ago

Alex is never seen. He only appears through the words and actions of those around him, mostly through those of his father, Charles, and his daughter, Maria.

As such, the audience forms its own opinion about Alex and about how the story unfolds: a continuous conflict between the concrete and the abstract, between what is seen and what is not, between what is said and what remains unsaid.

'Sfumat' is a theatrical presentation produced by the Salesian Oratory in Sliema and will involve young actors, accompanied by live original music and choreography. This production is being held on Friday 28 and Saturday 29 September at Teatru Salesjan in Sliema.
