The Valletta Cup tournament was held successfully today in Valletta.  Both Valletta Clubs, Valletta Subbuteo Club and Valletta Lions TFC participated in this tournament.  It was an individual competition with two categories, the open category and the cadet category.

The winner of the Open Category, that is the winner of the Valletta Cup was Derek Conti of Valletta Subbuteo club and Mario Camilleri of Valletta Subbuteo Club was also finalist.

Thomas Ebejer of Valletta Lions TFC was the winner of the Cadet Category. Jeshua Bonnici of Valletta Lions TFC was finalist.

During his speech, Mr Ray Azzopardi thanked both clubs, their presidents and all the committee members for working together in this event.  He announced that he is working on other, even bigger events involving these clubs, apart from the next edition of the Valletta Cup which will be held in April 2019.  Mr Ray Azzopardi wished the clubs for further successes.  He promised that he will always be there for the clubs "These clubs are part of Valletta, so they are part of me".
