Employees at MAPFRE Middlesea stepped away from the office to participate in team-building events.

In an event organised by JUGS Malta, all employees participated in a number of activities that aimed to increase communication and team-work.  During the day, employees in different teams participated in 'Whacky Olympics', which included three-lagged egg race, relay and pram races, water games, football and tug of war among others.

"Such events allow our employees to socialise and get to know each other better. As a result of such team-work and team-bonding, employees work better together when they return to their workplace. We strongly believe that they also contribute towards a better experience for our clients. Such events provide motivation and also some fun at the work place," Chief Office HR Ines Silva said.

MAPFRE Middlesea organises a number of activities throughout the year that allow for the development of its employees. These include volunteering activities, workshops and training. " As the company evolves, our team needs to evolve with it. We ensure that employees are provided with a good developmental and motivatational programme," Ms Silva continued.
