Two government ministers have written a second letter to the European Commission to decry “innuendos” and “linkage to unrelated facts” mentioned in a letter sent to the commission by five MEPs.

European Affairs Minister Helena Dalli and Justice Minister Owen Bonnici again reiterated that the government placed no limitations on resources to be used in the investigation into the murder of Daphne Caruana Galizia.

The government has written to the European Commission on 10 October in reply to what the Department of Information described as “false assertions” made by Nationalist MEP David Casa in a letter dated 8 October.
