Rennie Deguara won the Carmel Grech Trap Mini Grand Prix at the Qormi Clay Shooting Club, an event that was organised on three qualification rounds of twenty five clay targets each plus Finals.

Nicky Carabott placed in second place while George Mifsud finished in third place overall.

The six Finalists in the Bib number order according to their qualification scores were;

Veteran George Cassar finished with the highest qualification score of 65/75, Rennie Deguara hit 63/75+2, promising junior athlete Nico Sciberras scored 63/75+1, George Mifsud shot 62/75, Gianluca Chetcuti managed 61/75 while Nicky Carabott made the finals with the score of 59/75+4 after a three-way shoot-off with Stephen Vella and Matthew Busuttil.

1^st Rennie Deguara 19/25 + 3/5 + 3/5 + 3/5 + 9/10, total score 37/50

2^nd Nicky Carabott 20/25 + 5/5 + 1/5 + 2/5 + 7/10, total score 35/50

3^rd George Mifsud 17/25 + 5/5 + 2/5 + 2/5, total score 26/40

4^th Nico Sciberras 17/25 + 2/5 + 3/5, total score 22/35

5^th George Cassar 15/25 + 2/5, total score 17/30

6^th Gianluca Chetcuti 15/25, total score 15/25

 

The top Shooters in their respective classes concluded their three qualification rounds with the following scores:
