The police yesterday arrested seven persins in separate drug raids in Gzira and Valletta.

Five men and a woman aged between 28 and 47 were arrested in an apartment in Gzira where some 70 grammes of heroin, cocaine and crack were found ready to be trafficked.

Further investigations led to the arrest of a seventh person, a 23-year-old resident of St Paul’s Bay, at the Valletta waterfront.

The police did not give the place of residence of the six persons who were arrested in Gzira.
