A decorative Christmas tree narrows access to the steps leading to and from Balluta Square in St Julian’s residents have remarked.

The tree has been placed right at the centre of the opening, effectively reducing the space from which people could pass and increasing the risk that the tree could be toppled over.

It would have been more ideal if the tree had been placed further inside the square so as to avoid inconvenience and possible mishaps.
