The two major political parties collected nearly €1.5 million between them in televised pre-Christmas fund-raising campaigns held on Sunday/

The Labour Party collected €803,174, while the Nationalist Party collected €670,632.

Both party leaders, Joseph Muscat and Adrian Delia, thanked supporters for the contributions.
