A woman was seriously injured this morning when she fell through a skylight in a residence in Xewkija, the police said.

The accident happened at 9.30am in Piscopo Macedonia Street.

The 33-year-old German woman, who resides in the same property, was assisted by members of the Civil Protection Department before being taken to hospital with serious injuries.
