Gozo Channel said today that the MV Malita shall be off-service at the dry dock from Wednesday 6 February till Tuesday, 12 February.

To compensate for the decrease in vehicle capacity, as from Wednesday 6 February 2019 the morning trips, between Monday and Friday from Mgarr and Cirkewwa will be operated as follows:

Other trips will be performed according to the published schedule and a shuttle service will also be provided if demand so necessitates. The company will also ensure that the MV Ta’ Pinu is operated with both hoistable decks down so that it can cater for the heavy traffic as and when necessary.

The above arrangements will remain operational until the MV Malita returns to service and depending on weather conditions.
