The Hockey National league continued on Sunday with two matches from Match day 7. Qormi Daikin gave their title hopes a boost with a neat 4-1 win against Floriana Young Stars who now go four points adrift albeit with a game in hand. Qormi took a two goal into the half-time break thanks to goals from Zak Degiovanni and Luke Bajada and got a third from the same Bajada before Edward Hughes pulled one back for Young Stars. Before the end, Steve Portelli sealed the issue with a fourth.

In the first game of the day Sliema Hs had little difficulty beating Rabat Depiro and stay within two points of the leaders. Daniel Agius and Ryan Dalli scored in the first half and Shaun Grima got number three in the second half.

The League continues on Sunday and while leaders Qormi Daikin should have little difficulty against White Hart in the 11:00am match their rivals Sliema Hs and Floriana Young Stars will face off at 9:00am.
