E&S Group is proud to announce the appointment of Dr Anton John Mifsud as the new Head of Legal.

E&S Group is a Malta-based boutique firm with a multi-disciplinary practice spanning across a number of innovative industries. Its exceptional track record has earned it a place as one of the leading corporate, commercial, tax, and fiduciary service providers in the country and over the last 18 months it has also established itself as an industry leader in the crypto sphere. The Group also offers a range of advisory services in relation to ICOs, token offerings, blockchain, and other cryptocurrency-related activities that are provided for under Maltese law.

Following this success, E&S Group has also launched its own FinTech division in early 2019, that is designed to be a key contributor and builder of the blockchain and FinTech ecosystem, including the provision of bank handling and payment solutions.

Dr Mifsud will head the legal department at E&S Group, overseeing a team of dynamic professionals that provide legal advice to the Groups' clients both in Malta and abroad.

Anton graduated from the University of Malta as a lawyer in 2009 and was admitted to the Maltese Bar in 2010. He holds a Bachelor of Laws, a Masters in Financial Services and a Doctorate in Law, and is a member of the Malta Chamber of Advocates. After spending a number of years working at a mid-sized local law firm as well as a fund administration company, he decided that it was time to progress and moved on to E&S Group where he was appointed as Head of Legal.

His brief not only entails the management and supervision of the legal department but it also includes advising the Groups' international clientele with respect to conducting their businesses in Malta. He is also involved in the negotiation and conclusion of agreements on behalf of clients.

His vast experience in corporate, commercial, and FinTech sectors makes him an asset to both E&S Group and the clients that are serviced.
