Many have described the storm that hit Malta and Gozo over the weekend as the worst to have ever touched the island. Others recalled that in 1979 we had an even more terrible experience when people had lost their lives.

But, in a day an age of social interaction and, given also the way certain people behaved, especially in Xemxija, where some braved the storm to collect fish that were washed ashore, there are people with a sense of humour who wanted to share their creativity.

Of course, there were political messages too.
