A biker was seriously injured when he lost control of the bike he was riding and crashed in San Gwann, the police said.

The accident took place in Bella Vista Street at 11.30pm.

The 40-year-old biker was riding a Harley Davidson when he lost control and crashed.

Yesterday at around 2330hrs, the Police were informed that their assistance was needed in Bella Vista Street in San Gwann.

An ambulance was called onsite to take the victim to Mater Dei hospital for further treatment. Later he was certified as suffering from serious injuries.

A Magisterial Inquiry was appointed into the case and Police investigation is still on going.
