Last year, 301 under-age persons were taken to court, whilst 30 were taken before the drug tribunal due to drug-related crimes, Minister for Home Affairs and National Security Michael Farrugia said on Monday.

He was replying to a parliamentary question by PD Leader Godfrey Farrugia.

The cases vary from theft, drug possession, drug trafficking, personal injury, threats and insults, voluntary damaging private or public property, driving without a licence, disobeying a public official, possession of pornography and sexual activities with a minor, Farrugia said.
