SAN ĠILJAN TUM INVEST       9
NEPTUNES LEO VEGAS            7
(2-3), (1-1), (3-1), (3-2)

San Ġiljan TUM Invest lacked their captain Matthew Zammit but still showed why they are the holders and winners of this year's Enemed Cup. It was a balanced encounter and if the game ended in a draw it wouldn't be scandalous, but San Ġiljan showed more compactness in defence in certain moments that proved to be vital. Neptunes lacked also Jake Muscat.

Neptunes had a better start and even looked sharper in their attacking threat. A brace by Niki Lanzon and another goal by Gabriel Pace, cancelled Ben Plumpton's opener. Dino Zammit scored from penalty. Nikolai Zammit made it 4-2 in the second session but Tristan Said reduced the margin for his team as San Ġiljan had the upper hand in the latter minutes of the second session.

Marko Orlovic seemed to inspire his team during the break as Dino Zammit equalised from penalty and Darren Zammit tapped in to give his team the lead, but Jeremy Abela equalised immediately. Plumpton made sure to give his team the edge before the beginning of the last session.

The minimal difference between both teams meant that Neptunes had to search a quick comeback to take back the lead. Dino Zammit made it 7-5 and despite Nikolai Zammit scored his second of the game, Zammit kept the double advantage. San Ġiljan closed the game with a goal from Andreas Galea, and Matthias Azzopardi reduced the gap in the final seconds of the game but it wasn't enough for his team.
