A Neapolitan man has admitted to using a stolen credit card to buy over €2,300 worth of goods from Valletta.
25 year-old Ciro Napolitano was arraigned yesterday before magistrate Neville Camilleri, charged with theft aggravated by value after using a credit card he had stolen from a man to buy items from various retail outlets in the capital. The theft was deemed aggravated by value as the cost of the items bought exceeded €2,300.
Napolitano pleaded guilty to the charges and was sentenced to two years in prison, suspended for 3 years.
