Two persons were arrested after the police seized 130 kilogrammes of cannabis in a garage in Zejtun, the police said.

The arrests were made on Thursday afternoon after several weeks of police investigations.

The two arrested persons – no gender was given –a re aged 22 and 34, both of Cospicua.

Magistrate Natasha Galea Sciberras is leading an inquiry.
