Malta once again topped the list in the Rainbow Europe classification, which lists countries according to the rights they give to LGBTIQ persons.
The classification was published by the International Association of Lesbians, Gays, Bisexuals, Trans and Intersex (ILGA).
It is the fourth year in a row that Malta finished in top place.
ILGA established 69 criteria to base its analysis in 49 European countries.
Malta obtained a 90% score, followed by Belgium on 73% and Luxembourg on 70%. The worst off were Armenia (7%), Turkey (5%) and Azerbaijan (3%).
