US presidential hopeful Pete Buttigieg has attracted great attention ever since he expressed his interest in the White House.

After so much fuss about the way his Maltese surname is pronounced, website TMZ has now picked up a conversation he had in Maltese.

Democratic presidential candidate Buttigieg, born to Maltese parents, is seen conversing with another Maltese citizen and speaks about his family roots, also mentioning another Buttigieg who became President of Malta – Anton Buttigieg, who was head of state between 1976 and 1981.
