A worker was injured in a fall on a construction site in St Julian’s.
The accident took place at around 11am in Sacred Heart Street, the police said.
Civil Protection Department personnel went on site, together with police officers and medical staff.
The police later said that the injured worker is a 23-year-old man of Msida, who fell two storeys.
He suffered serioys injuries.
It is the same construction site where a fire broke out earlier this month, with one person injured.
