MARSASKALA FISH AND FISH........... 8

EXILES ELIA CATERERS..................... 10

(1-3), (3-2), (0-3), (4-2)

Exiles Elia Caterers deserved the victory but Marsaskala Fish and Fish showed that they weren't pushovers. For another game, Exiles weren't perfect but this time they got what they wanted and their coach Igor Vukanovic will surely want his team to raise their bar in order to repeat their positive season they had last season.

Exiles won the first session 3-1 with goals from a brace by Marko Jelaca and Milos Vukicevic that cancelled Konstantin Averka's opener. Jake Ciantar pulled one back in the second session and after Exiles opened twice a double advantage, Averka scored in both occasions to keep his team one goal adrift.

Exiles had an important break in the third session scoring three times without conceding to practically seal the win. Marsaskala lost Konstantin Averka after he was sent-off while few seconds later, the game of Marko Jelaka ended earlier due being fouled-out.

Despite being four goals behind, Marsaskala tried to enter back in the game but Exiles controlled their efforts while Kristijan Milakovic scored twice late in the game.

NEPTUNES LEO VEGAS............ 24

MARSAXLOKK BROWN'S......... 12

(4-5), (5-3), (7-3), (8-1)

Champions Neptunes Leo Vegas made sure if there was any doubt to play in Premier Division after they showed their quality to ease past Marsaxlokk Brown's Pharmacy. The First Division Champions played at par with their opponents for half of the game but then it was a one-sided affair.

Fresh from their win against Valletta, Marsaxlokk won the first session 5-4 and didn't look inferior at that point. Neptunes turned the game on its head with three goals from Darko Brguljan and Stevie Camilleri, but Marsaxlokk stayed on course until the break.

That was because Neptunes pulled on their accelerator in the third session and after a few minutes scored five consecutive goals to open up a more than comfortable 16-9 lead. The game kept its same level in the last session as Stevie Camilleri scored an early hat-trick while they continued to score for a big margin.

Neptunes: A. Borg Cole, N. Lanzon (1), K. Erdogan, G. Pace (1), P. Muslim (5), D. Brguljan (5), S. Camilleri (6), J. Camilleri (1), J. Abela (2), N. Zammit (3), J. Muscat, M. Azzopardi, B. Busuttil, S. Busuttil, J. Farrugia

SIRENS GREENTUBE........... 15

VALLETTA VIDEOSLOTS....... 9

(4-2), (5-3), (2-1), (4-3)

Sirens Greentube were always one step ahead of their opponents and it was no surprise that the sharpest team in the pitch won the game. Their third win of the group came in a commanding fashion against opponents who are just not at their level, even without one of their foreigners Valentino Gallo.

Sirens won the first session 4-2, scoring three consecutive goals to cancel Michele Mifsud's opener. Valletta kept their gap to a maximum two goals for half of the second session but Sirens scored twice to open up an 8-4 lead that the Citizens never recovered.

Sirens led by Christian Presciutti in the pitch, controlled the proceedings as Valletta missed a couple of opportunities to score consecutive goals and keep hoping of a comeback. Their centre Sasa Misic was well controlled by the Sirens' defenders.

Valletta's players didn't look determined and concentrated enough to recover as the gap grew by time. Matthew Sciberras, Marc Grech and Christian Presciutti scored in two minutes as Sirens were 15-7 ahead. Daniel Paolella cut the deficit with two goals in a space of minute which obviously weren't enough.

Sirens: N. Grixti, J. Zerafa Gregory (1), C. Presciutti (5), P. Privitera (1), M. Grech (1), J. Brownrigg (3), I. Riolo (2), V. Gallo, J. Napier, E. Aquilina (1), L. Caruana, M. Sciberras (1), O. Gauci, Z. Bartolo, G. Farrugia
