One of the two people the police have been searching for (above right) has been found, the police said this evening. The police thanked the public for their cooperation and said the man has now been identified.
The police are still searching for a second man, 32-year-old Milos Vidakovic, (above left), who the Macedonan community in Malta has named as the main suspect in the stabbing of a Macedonian man in Bugibba last Monday.
The 58-year-old went to the Mosta police station after he was attacked in Triq il-Pijunieri, St Paul’s Bay, at around 9.30pm on Monday. His injuries were classified as serious.
In a Faceook post, the Macedonian community urged all Macedonians in Malta to share the picture of the suspect to help the police apprehend him. “The Police are in constant communication with the family and do everything in their power to capture the perpetrator,” it said, adding that “there is no place for people like him in Malta.”
Anyone with information about the wanted person is being urged to contact the police, in a confidential manner, on telephone numbers 21224001 or 119.
