Michelle Muscat braced coppy seas to complete 1 14 kilometre swim around Malta's tail in the fifth swimming challenge in aid of the Marigold Foundation.

The Prime Minister's wife completed the distance between Ċirkewwa and Mellieħa, dubbed as Tail's End, in under five hours.

Prime Minister Muscat was among those who welcomed Mrs Muscat at the finish line, giving her a kiss as she climbed out of the water.

The Marigold Foundation serves a number of NGOs, notably the Special Olympics.

The foundation is also working on a number of issues such as Pink October, mental health and autism.
