A Sudanese man was seriously injured on Tuesday morning after he fell inside a construction site in 1Zebbug.

The accident took place in Sqaq il-Qenc, at around 11.45am.

The man fell from a height of one storey, the police said.

He was assisted by members of the Civil Protection Department and was later taken to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance.

The police are investigating.
