Two men charged with causing grievous bodily harm

Two British men were charged with causing grievous bodily harm to a third man in Gozo on 14 July, the police said in a statement.

The two men, aged 25, were also accused of breaching public peace.

The incident took place in Xlendi.

They both pleaded both guilty and were released on bail by Magistrate Paul Coppini.

The prosecution was led by Inspector Bernard Charles Spiteri.

The police did not give the names of the two men.
