Bank of Valletta hosted the BOV Joseph Calleja Children's Choir to a party celebrating their successful participation in the Joseph Calleja Summer Concert held recently at the Granaries in Floriana.

The BOV Joseph Calleja Children's Choir has established itself as one of the main protagonists of The Maltese Tenor's Annual Concert in Malta. The choir, who stole the show with their performance of Lion King's Circle of Life, accompanied the Maltese tenor and his special guests, including the internationally-renowned tenor Andrea Bocelli on stage throughout the concert.

Soprano and choir director Gillian Zammit, Ira Losco and Nicole Frendo who performed alongside Joseph Calleja and Andrea Bocelli, as well as X-factor judge Howard Keith Debono were all present for the party where they watched highlights from the concert together with their idols.

A commemorative collection of photos of highlights from the concert was presented to the children as a sign of appreciation by Bank of Valletta for their commitment.  Rehearsals for the concert started early in July, with both children and parents sacrificing very long hours to ensure a star performance on the night of the concert. Joseph Calleja thanked the choir members for their contribution and congratulated them for their sterling performance during the concert.

The BOV Joseph Calleja Children's choir was founded by Joseph Calleja. Bank of Valletta has been supporting the choir since 2013, as always strongly believing in Malta's local talent and the power of youths in the world of performing arts.
