The first days of autumn were more like summer days, as temperatures remained warm enough for beach lovers to extend their swimming days.

But it looks likely that autumn days will soon be with us, with the Meteorological Office forecasting rain and thunder.

Rain should hit the Maltese Islands on Sunday, and will go on for three other days, including thundery showers on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
