Villa Messina celebrated the third anniversary since its refurbishment with a party for residents and staff on April 14. Run by CareMalta, it is one of eight elderly homes where employees are currently living in with the residents. The home, in the heart of Rabat, was reopened in April 2017 after all its floors, front office desk, kitchen, chapel and activities room were extensively refurbished. It was officially inaugurated in April 2018.
