A biker was grievously injured on Wednesday evening in a crash in the Santa Venera tunnels, the police said.

The accident, which occurred at 8.30pm, involved a Honda SH150, and a Mazda Demio, driven by a 29-year-old man of Zebbug.

The biker, a 50-year-old man from St Paul’s Bay, was taken to hospital with grievous injuries.
