Monday, 27 December 2021, 12:26 Last update: about 3 years ago

Bank of Valletta (BOV) branches across Malta have resorted to closing some branches while limiting services of others due to a few employees who have tested positive to Covid-19 or are in quarantine.

In a statement on Monday, BOV said that the Naxxar and Birkirkara BOV branches are closed for today. They will reopen for customers on Tuesday 28th December.

The Nadur and Xaghra branches are also temporarily closed until further notice.

Branches in Birżebbuġa, Ħ’Attard, Msida and Fleur de Lys will only be offering non-cashier services by appointment as cash teller services will be unavailable.

Customers requiring non-cash services are requested to make an appointment online on https://www.bov.com/Assistants/set-an-appointment , or send an email to [email protected], or call on 21312020.

The bank encouraged the use of ATMs, BOV Internet Banking, BOV Mobile Banking, BOV Pay and BOV Debit and Credit Cards for their banking and payment needs, to limit the risk of spreading the virus.

In the statement, BOV apologised for any inconveniences caused.
