A driver was grievously injured when he lost control of the van he was driving and crashed into an electricity pole, the police said.
The accident took place in Dun Karm Psaila Street, Msida, at 5.30pm on Friday.
The biker, a 68-year-old man of Hamrun, was driving a Toyota Hiace.
