Paul played with Leeds United between 1962 and 1978 and also represented England gaining three caps, one of them being the Malta – England match played at the Old Empire Stadium in Gzira in 1971, which incidentally was his last appearance for this country.

The LUSC (Malta) have also invited the Maltese players who played against England in that famous match to meet Reaney.

During his stay in Malta Reaney will on Sunday be the guest of honour during an event for all members of the Leeds United Supporters Club and will also be visiting the island of Gozo.
