Civil Protection Malta (CPD) firefighters responded to a second floor apartment fire yesterday in Msida, and rescued a dog trapped inside.

Posting on Facebook, the CPD said that once inside, firefighters managed to locate and rescue a dog that was trapped inside the apartment. "The dog was treated by the Emergency Medical Team from Mater Dei Hospital on scene and is doing well."
