Two bikers were injured in separate accidents on Saturday, the police said,

The first accident took place at noon in Ghar Dalam Road, Zejtun.

It involved a Toyota Auris driven by a 70-year-old man of Hamrun and a Yamaha bike.

The biker, a 36-year-old man from Birzebbuga, was taken to hospital with grievous injuries.

The second accident took place at 2pm in Armagg Street, Mgarr.

It involved a Suzuki Swift, driven by a 32-year-old man, and a Husqvarna bike.

The biker, a man aged 23, was also taken to hospital with grievous injuries.
