PN MP Adrian Delia has called out Transport Minister Aaron Farrugia over a reply the latter gave to a question in Parliament, with Delia accusing the minister of 'not telling the truth'.

Delia had asked the minister about a company operated by Christian Borg that recently lost its license through a court decision. He asked the minister whether this company is  the provider for Transport Malta and LESA.

Minister Farrugia said that the company in question does not provide cars to Transport Malta or LESA.

Taking to Facebook, Delia said that what the minister said was not true, and posted documents.

Earlier in April, the Appeals Court has upheld a decision by the Public Contracts Review Board to disqualify Christian Borg's Princess Operations Limited from a multi-million-euro car leasing tender for the judiciary.

Borg is currently being accused of, along with five other men, kidnapping a person, driving without a license, threatening police officials, among others. Borg is also the owner of a controversial car rental business, No Deposit Cars.
