Popular actor Ray Bone has passed away, with many taking to social media to pay tribute to his memory on Sunday morning.

He was 66 years of age.

Bone starred in several popular Maltese television series such as Santa Monika, Evanġelisti and Deċeduti, and more recently was also part of the cast of the series Nostalġija.

Bone was also a footballer in the past with Valletta FC, following in his father, Walter Bone’ s footsteps.
