Two men from Nigeria both ended up in hospital after a fight in Qawra on Sunday afternoon, the police said.

The two men, aged 24 and 25, were involved in a fight in Annetto Caruana Street at 7pm.

The 24-year-old was hit by a bottle, the police said.

He was taken to hospital with grievous injuries.

The second man suffered slight injuries.
