Former President and Prime Minister Eddie Fenech Adami was pictured enjoying the St Helen’s feast from his balcony on Sunday morning.

The images were uploaded by the statesman’s son and PN MP Beppe Fenech Adami soon after the traditional morning procession in his native Birkirkara.

Fenech Adami, who bowed out of the political scene in 2009 when his term as President expired, is now 89 years old and remains revered by supporters of the Nationalist Party.

The feast of St Helen’s was celebrated over the course of the past week, culminating in a procession on Sunday morning.
