The Malta Philharmonic Orchestra is launching a fun filled Christmas journey, especially designed for the entire family, for this special time of the year: the Christmas Extravaganza Concert at the MFCC, Ta' Qali on 23 December.

This will be a special Yuletide event with entertainment before the concert begins, from 5pm where families and friends can come along and enjoy a variety of games, face painting, stilt walkers, photo-op with none other than Santa Claus himself and much more.

Leading the MPO is none other than British conductor, organist and pianist, Maestro Wayne Marshall OBE himself. He is world-renowned for his musicianship and versatility on the podium and at the keyboard.

Popular Singers will sing Christmas tunes accompanied by the MPO for the evening include a range of vast talent and the lineup is Emma Muscat, Klinsmann, Gianluca Bezzina, Marita Bezzina and Nicola Said.

To add to the Christmas spirit, 'The New Choral Singers' will accompany the MPO to make the concert grander. Founded in 1994, the Choir was formed when a small group of friends came together to share their passion for music. The Choir has grown to a 55-strong voluntary group whose primary purpose is to deliver the highest standards of choral singing for the musical delight of its audiences.
