A biker was grievously injured on Friday night after a collision in Santa Venera, the police said.

The accident took place at 11.45pm in St Joseph High Road.

It involved a Peugeot Tweet and a Peugeot 307, driven by a 53-year-old man of Birkirkara.

The biker, an Indian 31-year-old man who resides in Marsascala, was taken to hospital with grievous injuries.
