Prime Minister Robert Abela's weakness in the face of those who hijacked the Labour Party is resulting in weak leadership for the entire country, Opposition Leader Bernard Grech said on Sunday.

Grech said that the PN's politics are based on offering a policy of gain for all Gozitan and Maltese people, and added that Prime Minister Abela has "lost the moral authority to govern".

The leader of the Nationalist Party visited a number of localities around Gozo throughout Sunday morning, including Ghajnsielem, Xaghra, and Rabat. The PN said that he did this to strengthen dialogue and discuss the challenges being faced by the local residents so that he could better understand the needs of the Gozitan people.

He said that, based on his discussions with the locals, some of the challenges they are facing on a daily basis include challenges in health and transport, as well as the cost of living.

Grech was accompanied by his wife AnnMarie, the Deputy Leader of the PN Alex Perici Calascione, the PN General Secretary Michael Piccinino, along with several PN MPs as well as candidates for the European Parliament and Local Council elections. There were also members of the PN sectional committees of the visited localities
