A biker was grievously injured on Friday evening in a traffic accident in Mtarfa, the police said.

The accident took place in Mtarfa Road at 9.30pm.

It involved a Suzuki GSX and an Isuzu D-Max driven by a woman aged 41 of Rabat.

The biker, a 49-year-old man of Siggiewi, was taken to hospital with grievous injuries.
